GMG Transportation Corp. has tried to hold transportation costs steady
during our national fuel price crisis. However, prices continue to rise, and
our customers have been confused regarding the fuel surcharge.
We hope that the following information and chart will help you follow
the surcharge rate, which will vary weekly. Each Monday, the Department of Energy publishes a national average fuel price index, which remains in effect until the following Monday. You may obtain the doe index price by calling (202) 586-6966 or on the internet at www.eia.doe.gov. GMG will adjust the fuel surcharge effective each Wednesday of each week.

The fuel surcharge will be adjusted up or down according to the National Fuel Index on Wednesday weekly.
